The first stage of the selling process is to walk through your home. I go through it with you and consider how to show it to its best advantage. I advise you if I think there are small things you could do that would make a big impact on the price. And I’ll let you know if I think there are any issues that are likely to stall buyers.

I price your home based on facts, not guesswork.

The price of your home will be influenced by many factors: your competition, recent sales in the area, market trends, the economy, the condition of your home and its curb appeal. I’ll go over all of these factors with you and help you price your home competitively, so that you get the best possible price in current market conditions. One of the tools I use is a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) report, which shows you the range of prices being paid for homes in your area.

I run a marketing campaign with complete coverage.

Your home’s sales profile, complete with professional quality pictures, is listed on the RE/MAX sales network, both nationally and internationally. When you list with me, your listing will appear in more than 70 countries and 30 languages!

It is also entered into the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) database, where your information is immediately accessible to more than 10,000 Realtors® in Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. I add your home to the weekly Realtors’® Tour of homes for quick viewing by all local Realtors®. And your home is featured with pictures in your local Real Estate Weekly and Realtylink until it is sold.

Prospective buyers can find your home and then contact me to view it, or get more information. In addition, your listing is sent to every prospective buyer in my database who is looking for a home like yours.

Last but not least, I schedule private showings with qualified buyers and host an Open House, all with sensitivity for the fact that – as much as you want to sell your home – you need adequate notice and respect for your privacy.

I help you choose the best possible offer.

When we receive an offer, I notify all interested parties who previously viewed your home and I encourage them to view your home again in an attempt to create competing offers. Then, we review your financial goals, the offer and current market conditions, and proceed accordingly.

I make sure that the terms of the offer are favorable to you: from the closing date, to the items you do and don’t want included in the sale. I use my skills as a negotiator, my contract experience, and my relationships with lenders and legal professionals to make this part of the process proceed as smoothly as possible. I’m on the phone, handling all the details, so that you don’t have to!
